come to these institutions to get formal and spiritual education.
These institutions, despite their overall good economic conditions tend to focus more on the religious/spiritual education of the pupils and therefore leading to an acute need of quality formal education. Therefore, the need of volunteers is very high in Monk education centres as they require help to teach English, Mathematics, Art & Craft and preparing teaching learning material. These monk-teaching centres normally have accommodation facility for their students and it means the volunteers can contribute for a greater period of time each day, if they so wished.

Chiang Mai is one of the few places in Thailand where it is possible to experience both historical and modern Thai culture coexisting side by side: the city features centuries-old pagodas and temples next to as well as modern convenience stores and boutique hotels. Chiang Mai literally means “new city” and has retained the name despite celebrating its 700th anniversary in 1996.
For many years, travellers have thought of Chiang Mai simply as the base from which they could plan trekking and rafting trips to hill tribe villages and also visits to other provinces. Included Services and Activities
- Number of nights (depending on the duration booked) stay on sharing occupancy basis.
- All transfers and sightseeing by public transport.
- Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM for most of the hotels (but we can usually arrange earlier check-in).

Volunteer Activities includes
The age group the students is from 8-25years and they have different level of grade & education. Day to day activities may include:
- Teaching English, Math and social skills

Day 1
Pickup from Chiang Mai airport and transfer to accommodation. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai. (No Meal)

Day 2
You start your day with a detailed orientation. This is very important part of the program and in this orientation you will get to know about: o Thailand & its culture o Social development and the role of volunteers o How to do volunteer work o Cultural responsibility o Personal safety & Code of Conducts o Introduction to allocated project and its description. • Thai language basics • Visit of local markets and orientation to the general local area • Visit of allocated projects Overnight stay at Chiang Mai. Day 3
The day starts with getting ready for breakfast. Your day will be spent at the volunteering project and as per the work allocated to you over the next few days. After you have finished for the day there will be a local food preparation demonstration and food tasting. The day ends with a dinner. (Meals – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Continue your volunteering work for around 5 hours in a day. Evening enjoy a dinner with local English speaking host family to experience everyday life of regular Thai people. (Meals – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
