Health Care Program
About Health Care
Access to Healthcare services is the basic right of every individual and with the help of healthcare services, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases is done to ensure that healthy life can be given to every individual. These healthcare services include primary and secondary healthcare services for better living. Healthcare services work as an important determinant to promote the mental and physical well-being of people around the world. These medical and healthcare projects help communities to access the life-saving resources and also raise awareness about the importance of health care services.
Healthcare services are provided equally to every individual to provide information about healthy living. There are a number of people across the world, who live in undeveloped areas and need assistance in healthcare services. Health care services are required to ensure societal changes for a healthier population. Volunteers are required in these places to ensure that better services are provided to people, which require services along with assistance to healthcare professionals. Volunteering activities in healthcare services will help in increasing or boosting confidence and also in improving decision-making as in various situations, decisions have to be taken. Various activities that are provided under this project include services for pregnant women, infants and lactating mothers and providing basic first aid facility to every individual. Along with this, awareness about the importance of sanitation and other hygiene practices to lead a healthy life is provided to ensure healthy living.
With rising population and pressure on the medical system, there is a dearth of people who can be a helping hand. Idex identifies both skilled and unskilled volunteers and aligns them with projects based on their choices and knowledge in the area. These volunteers work to provide support to people and help them lead a healthy life.
